Our Commitment

At PleaseStart, we believe everyone should be able to buy and sell vehicles with ease, regardless of ability. We are committed to providing a website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.

PleaseStart aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and applies WAI-ARIA authoring practices for rich internet applications. Our work is guided by the accessibility goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); as a private online marketplace, we measure ourselves against WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our conformance target.

Known Limitations

Areas we are actively improving:

  • Touch Targets: Some controls have touch targets smaller than 44×44 pixels
  • User-Generated Content: Sellers may upload images without alt text
  • Third-Party Integrations: Some services have their own accessibility limitations
