We Accept
- Clean titles only — No salvage, branded, or rebuilt
- Quality photos — 25+ recommended (all angles, interior, engine)
- Full disclosure — Visible defects and damage documented by the seller
Hard Rejections
- Salvage/branded titles — Automatic rejection
- Watermarked photos — Watermarks, stock-photo overlays, third-party site logos or URLs
- Duplicate listings — A VIN that already has an active or pending listing
A document that doesn't match the listing, such as a title showing a different VIN, is flagged for manual review and isn't shown to buyers.

Common questions
Your listing stays active for 30 days from publication or until you mark it as sold. After it expires, you can renew it for another $19.99; a renewed listing goes through quality review again before it is republished.
Some details, such as the price, can be updated from My Listings. The generated description can't be rewritten by hand, and published photos can't be deleted or reordered yet. Buyers can message you through PleaseStart, and if your account has a phone number, signed-in buyers can reveal it from your listing.
PleaseStart is a curated marketplace focused on listing quality — we don't handle transactions. After connecting with a buyer, you arrange payment and vehicle transfer independently. You control the entire sale.
